About Swan Harbor
This historic farm is located at the head of the Chesapeake Bay and was the site of Maryland’s first commercial vineyard, planted by estate owner John Adlum. Adlum sent a bottle of his wine to Thomas Jefferson who was so impressed, he ordered cuttings from Adlum’s vineyard to be planted at Monticello. Read the history.
